Kylie Jenner is facing her third workplace lawsuit in roughly two months, this time from a former private chef who alleges the demands of the job during her pregnancy led to a miscarriage.
What You Should Know
The lawsuit, filed June 22 in Los Angeles Superior Court, names Jenner, Kylie Jenner Inc., TriStar Sports & Entertainment, Paleo Collective LLC, and two staff members as defendants, according to Entertainment Weekly. The anonymous former chef, who worked for Jenner from November 2024 to March 2025, raises more than 20 claims, including pregnancy discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage violations.
The Public Image Problem
According to the complaint, the chef told supervisors in December that she was pregnant and needed accommodations, but continued working 11- to 12-hour shifts five days a week, according to Global News’ review of the filing. The suit alleges she was directed to lift and transport heavy food items during a New Year’s Eve event and later collapsed emotionally during a February birthday party in Palm Springs after working without adequate support.
The Receipts
The chef says she woke up the next morning with severe bleeding and learned at the hospital that she had lost the pregnancy, according to the Los Angeles Times’ reporting cited by Global News. The complaint alleges that after she disclosed the loss, a supervisor told her, “Stop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie,” and that she was later accused of leaving the kitchen in disarray. The filing follows two earlier 2025 lawsuits from former housekeepers alleging discrimination and harassment.
What Happens Next
A representative for Jenner has not yet publicly responded to the new complaint. The case adds to a pattern of household-staffing litigation that has now produced three separate lawsuits against Jenner within a two-month span.
